A detailed breakdown of how to care for your hair items.
Synthetic hair instructions
- Before you wash, be sure to carefully detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb or brush.
- Do not pull or drag the fibre…. be gentle!
- Fill a bowl or basin with 1 liter LUKE WARM water (never hot, as heat damages fibres).
- Mix a 2pence piece size of synthetic hair shampoo the water.
- Softly shake the wig out and immerse it in the shampoo bath. The shampoo has a self-cleaning effect – it does not need to be agitated.
- TIP: When washing your wig, never squeeze, wring or rub it as it will cause damage to the fibres.
- Immerse your wig in a fresh bowl of luke warm water to remove shampoo.
- Do NOT rub, squeeze or wring your wig.
- Soak the wig in the water mixed with the wig conditioner for about 10min (don’t apply the conditioner directly to your wig).
- Rinse by immersing the wig once more in fresh cold water.
- Place the wig between a folded towel and pat dry.
- Never squeeze, rub or wring your wig while drying.
- Allow hair to air dry
- Do not use heat tools on the hair as this will melt the fibres
Human Hair Care Instructions
Gently remove tangles with fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Start at the ends and slowly work toward the roots to avoid damage. Do not brush.Do not soak or submerge product. Rinse by holding the hair under running cool water. Allow the water to run from roots to ends.
Place a small amount of shampoo for human hair in your hand, evenly and gently stroke it through the hair in a downwards motion from the roots to the ends.
Rinse by holding under running cool water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze to press out excess water. Do not twist or wring.
Place a small amount of conditioner for human hair in your hand, evenly and gently work it through the hair in a downwards motion from the mid-shaft down to the ends avoiding the base and root.
Leave conditioner on for 1-2 minutes or follow the conditioner manufacturer’s instructions. Do not exceed 3-5 minutes.
Rinse by holding under running cool water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze or use a clean, dry towel to press out excess water. Do not twist or wring.
Place wet wig on a wig stand until it is completely dry, otherwise use a hair dryer on a low heat.
To straighten, take a 1 inch section starting at the roots and run a flat iron to the ends.
To curl, wrap the hair around a curling iron and hold for 10 seconds and release.
If desired use hair spray on the final styled product.

- You may use heat tools on the hair up to 140 degrees. You can straighten, curl or wave the hair. To do this, curl the hair with a tong, then hold the hair in the curl or wave until it has cooled, then release.
