Headwrappers provide a free service to anyone experiencing hair loss as a result of cancer treatment. Headwrappers' aim is to provide free advice and support for clients by showing them that there are alternarives to wigs. The trained volunteers show some simple but effective methods of tying scarves and have a large stock of headwear items, such as pre-tied scarves, turbans and hats, which clients can try on in a secure and friendly enviroment. Cancer Hair Care is the UK”s leading charity providing expert advice and services free of charge, to anyone experiencing hair loss as a result of cancer treatments. They offer free, expert advice and support on all aspects of hair loss, hair loss prevention (scalp cooling) and hair care, before, during and after cancer treatments. They also provide NHS nurse education.
